The original GL1000 was offered in Candy Antares Red and Candy Blue Green. Sulfur Yellow belongs to the following model year rather than the regular 1975 production palette.

The red examples and the blue-green museum bike correspond to the two documented 1975 GL1000 colour families. The final photograph appears more blue under its exhibition lighting; its exact paint formulation is unverified. These views support the red and blue-green choices without proving that each motorcycle retains factory-applied paint.

In the coloured example
The burgundy tank shelter and side covers are a darker artistic interpretation of the red option. Gold outlining and silver brightwork follow the period visual theme, but the drawing is not a paint-matching reference.
