Legends in Line Art is an independent enthusiast series by Russell Cummings. This website accompanies the printed books with colouring ideas, photographs and research references.

Using the material

You are welcome to browse the guides and use the colouring suggestions with your book. Website access does not grant permission to republish the book illustrations or use them commercially. Contact russell@shifft.com.au for permission enquiries.

Reference photographs remain subject to their individual licences and credits. Follow the source and licence links beside each photograph before reusing it. Product photographs belong to their respective rights holders.

Historical and colour references

We distinguish documented finishes from restored examples and creative interpretations. Screen swatches are approximate colouring aids rather than paint formulas. Dates, markets and model variants can affect a reference. Please send corrections with supporting sources.

Retailers and external websites
